🕊 Observation: The God Who Covers

Psalm 121 is part of a group of psalms called the Songs of Ascent. These were sung by travelers—pilgrims on their way to worship in Jerusalem. Their journey wasn’t just spiritual; it was physical. They walked long, dangerous roads, facing robbers, wild animals, harsh weather, and exhaustion.

So when Psalm 121 says “The LORD watches over you,” this wasn’t poetry—it was protection. It was a cry of comfort for tired feet and anxious hearts.
