Devotional Message:

(Acts 19:28)
"When they heard this, they were furious and began shouting: 'Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!'"

Have you ever faced opposition because of your faith? In this verse, we see how the proclamation of the gospel stirred up anger among those who worshipped Artemis. When they heard about the impact of Paul's preaching, they became furious and shouted, "Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!"

Likewise, when we stand up for what we believe in, especially when it goes against popular culture or beliefs, we may encounter resistance or even hostility. But in those moments, remember that you are not alone. Just as Paul faced opposition, God is with you, giving you strength and courage.

It's important to stay grounded in your faith and not be swayed by the opinions of others. The people shouting about Artemis were loud, but their voices were not the truth. Similarly, the noise of the world may try to drown out your faith, but remember that the truth of God's Word is unchanging and unwavering.

When you face opposition, take heart and be encouraged. Your faithfulness to God's truth may provoke a reaction, but it also has the power to bring about transformation. Like Paul, continue to boldly proclaim the message of hope and salvation, knowing that God is working through you to bring about His purposes.

So, stand firm in your faith, even when the world around you seems to oppose it. Remember that God is greater than any opposition you may face, and He will equip you to overcome. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and let His love and truth guide you through every challenge.

In the midst of opposition, may you find strength in God's presence and courage in His promises. Let your life be a testimony to His goodness and grace, shining brightly even in the darkest of times.
