Devotional Message:

(Acts 22:10)
"I asked, 'What shall I do, Lord?' 'Get up,' the Lord said, 'and go into Damascus. There you will be told all that you have been assigned to do.'"

In this verse, we see the story of Saul, later known as Paul, who encountered the Lord on the road to Damascus. Paul, in his confusion and uncertainty, asked, "What shall I do, Lord?" His question echoes the doubts and struggles many of us face when we encounter uncertainty in our own lives.

But notice what happens next. The Lord responds, "Get up and go into Damascus. There you will be told all that you have been assigned to do." In this simple response, we find profound encouragement for our own journeys of faith.

Firstly, let's recognize that it's okay to not have all the answers. Like Paul, we may find ourselves in situations where we're unsure of what to do next. But instead of being paralyzed by fear or indecision, let's follow Paul's example and turn to the Lord in prayer. Just as Paul asked for guidance, we too can come to God with our questions and uncertainties, trusting that He hears us and will respond.

Secondly, let's learn to trust in God's timing and provision. The Lord didn't reveal everything to Paul at once. Instead, He gave him just enough guidance for the next step. Similarly, God may not show us the entire path laid out before us, but He promises to guide us one step at a time. As we step out in faith, God will continue to reveal His plan for our lives, providing exactly what we need, exactly when we need it.

Finally, let's embrace obedience. When Paul received his instructions from the Lord, he didn't hesitate or question further. He got up and went into Damascus, trusting that God's plan was greater than his own. Likewise, when we sense God's leading in our lives, let's be quick to obey, even if it means stepping out of our comfort zones or facing
