Devotional Message:

(Acts 23:12)
"The next morning some Jews formed a conspiracy and bound themselves with an oath not to eat or drink until they had killed Paul."

In this verse, we witness a powerful example of perseverance in the face of opposition. Some Jews plotted against Paul, swearing an oath not to eat or drink until they had killed him. Despite the threat, Paul's faith remained unshaken, and he continued to trust in God's protection.

Just like Paul, we encounter opposition in our lives. It may not always be as extreme as facing a plot on our lives, but it can still be challenging. It could be criticism from others, obstacles in our path, or even doubts and fears within ourselves.

But here's the key: when we face opposition, we must remember that we are not alone. God is with us every step of the way, just as He was with Paul. He is our strength, our refuge, and our fortress in times of trouble.

When opposition arises, let us not be discouraged or fearful. Instead, let us stand firm in our faith, knowing that God is greater than any challenge we may face. Let us trust in His promises and lean on His wisdom.

Moreover, let us take inspiration from Paul's example of perseverance. Despite the danger he faced, he remained steadfast in his mission to spread the Gospel. Likewise, let us not allow opposition to deter us from pursuing our purpose and serving God faithfully.

In moments of difficulty, let us turn to prayer, seeking God's guidance and strength.
