"So I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man."

In this verse, the apostle Paul shares an essential principle.

Firstly, let's understand what a conscience is. Your conscience is like an internal compass that guides your moral decisions. It's that inner voice that tells you what is right and what is wrong. And just like any compass, it needs to be regularly calibrated to ensure it's pointing in the right direction.

Paul's words remind us that we should always be striving to keep our conscience clear. But how do we do that?

1. Regular Self-Reflection: Take time each day to reflect on your actions, words, and thoughts. Ask yourself if they align with your values and beliefs. If you find any discrepancies, take steps to correct them.

2. Confession and Repentance: When you realize you've done something wrong, don't ignore it or brush it aside. Instead, confess it to God and to those you've wronged. Repentance involves not only asking for forgiveness but also making a commitment to change your behavior.

4. Seeking God's Guidance: Invite God into every aspect of your life. Seek His wisdom and guidance in decision-making, and allow His Spirit to convict and guide you towards righteousness.
