Devotional Message:
(Luke 8:25)
"He said to them, 'Where is your faith?' In fear and amazement they asked one another, 'Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.'"

Jesus and His disciples are crossing a lake when a sudden storm hits. The wind is howling, the waves are crashing, and their boat is filling with water. The disciples, many of whom are experienced fishermen, are terrified. They wake Jesus, who is sleeping peacefully, and cry out, "Master, Master, we're going to drown!" Jesus gets up, rebukes the wind and the raging waters, and suddenly everything is calm. Then He turns to them and asks, "Where is your faith?"

This story speaks directly to our hearts, especially during the storms of life. We all face moments of fear and uncertainty, whether it’s a personal crisis, health issues, financial struggles, or even global events. In these moments, Jesus's question echoes: "Where is your faith?"

1. Recognize His Presence: The first lesson we learn is to recognize Jesus’s presence in our lives. The disciples were in the same boat as Jesus, yet they were overwhelmed by fear. Similarly, we often forget that Jesus is with us in every situation. When we feel overwhelmed, we need to remember that Jesus is not far away—He is right beside us.

2. Trust in His Power: The disciples saw Jesus perform many miracles, yet they doubted His power to save them from the storm. We too witness God’s work in our lives and in the world around us, but sometimes we still doubt His ability to handle our problems. Trusting in His power means believing that no situation is too big for God. He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him.

3. Strengthen Your Faith: Faith isn’t just a one-time decision; it’s a continual process. When Jesus asks, "Where is your faith?" He is encouraging us to strengthen our trust in Him. How do we do this?
