November 11: Day 314 | 365 BIBLE VERSES – Daily Devotional Today [Our Daily Bread] | MamClaireTV

(John 9:35-38)

"Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, 'Do you believe in the Son of Man?' 'Who is he, sir?' the man asked. 'Tell me so that I may believe in him.' Jesus said, 'You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.' Then the man said, 'Lord, I believe,' and he worshiped him."

Devotional Reflection:

In this passage, we encounter a powerful encounter between Jesus and a man who had been blind from birth. After receiving his sight, the man faces skepticism and rejection from the religious leaders, yet he remains faithful to his encounter with Jesus. When Jesus finds him, He engages in a deep conversation, revealing Himself as the Son of Man. The man responds by declaring his faith and worshiping Jesus.

This encounter reminds us that faith is not about mere knowledge or religious affiliation, but a personal and transformative encounter with Jesus Christ. The blind man's journey from physical blindness to spiritual sight showcases the transformative power of encountering Jesus. It also demonstrates the importance of remaining steadfast in our faith, regardless of the rejection we may face from others.

Jesus continually seeks to reveal Himself to us, inviting us into a personal relationship with Him. As we encounter Jesus, He transforms our lives, giving us spiritual sight to perceive His truth and grace. Like the blind man, we are called to respond with genuine faith, acknowledging Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

May this passage inspire us to seek a vibrant and personal encounter with Jesus, allowing His presence to transform our hearts and lead us to wholehearted worship. Let us proclaim with conviction, "Lord, I believe," and worship Him as the true Son of God.

Prayer:

Lord
