Devotional:
This simple yet powerful verse reminds us of the close relationship Jesus desires to have with us. Jesus uses the metaphor of a shepherd and sheep to describe how He knows us intimately. Just as sheep recognize their shepherd's voice and follow him, Jesus calls us to listen to Him and follow His guidance.

In the world today, we are bombarded with so many voices—social media, news, opinions from others, and even our own thoughts. It can be hard to discern which voice to trust. But Jesus is calling us to listen to His voice above all the noise. Listening to Jesus means taking the time to slow down, tune out the distractions, and focus on His Word, His teachings, and the promptings of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

But what does it mean to truly listen? It’s not just hearing words; it’s about paying attention and being willing to obey. When we listen to Jesus, we acknowledge His authority in our lives.
