(John 19:26-27)
"When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, 'Woman, here is your son,' and to the disciple, 'Here is your mother.' From that time on, this disciple took her into his home."

In this verse, we witness a remarkable act of love and care demonstrated by Jesus, even in the midst of immense suffering on the cross. It says, "When Jesus saw His mother there, and the disciple whom He loved standing nearby, He said to His mother, 'Woman, here is your son,' and to the disciple, 'Here is your mother.'"

Pause for a moment and let the significance of these words sink in. Jesus, in His dying moments, took the time to think about the well-being of His mother, Mary, and His beloved disciple. He showed us the importance of taking care of one another, even in the most difficult of circumstances.
