Devotional Message:
(John 6:35)
"Then Jesus declared, 'I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.'"

Observation:

People often try to satisfy themselves with things of this world—money, success, relationships, entertainment, or recognition. These can be good things, but they don’t last forever, and they don’t truly satisfy us deep down. We end up always wanting more or feeling something is missing. Jesus is showing us that nothing on earth can fill that deep, inner need we all have for purpose, love, peace, and joy. Only He can. When Jesus says, "I am the bread of life," He’s telling us that He is the only source of true satisfaction.

Bread in Jesus' time was a basic food, something essential. Just like our bodies need food and water every day, our souls need Jesus daily to thrive. But He doesn't just offer us a temporary fix; He offers us lasting satisfaction. When we come to Him, believe in Him, and follow Him, He meets our deepest needs. He fills the emptiness, heals the brokenness, and gives us a peace that this world can’t take away.

Application:
What does it mean, practically, to let Jesus be the "bread of life" for us? It means choosing to draw close to Him every day, just like we eat every day. We do this through prayer, reading His Word, and seeking Him in everything we do. It’s about making Him a priority in our daily lives, looking to Him for guidance, strength, and comfort, instead of trying to find those things in temporary places.

Imagine waking up each morning and saying, "Lord, help me to look to You today to meet my needs. Guide me to live in a way that pleases You." This simple act of surrender, inviting Jesus into our daily lives, changes everything. When we start relying on Jesus this way, we discover that He gives us a joy that isn’t shaken by
