(Hebrews 13:5)

"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'

This verse reminds us to prioritize contentment over the love of wealth. Our confidence and security should come from the assurance that God will never abandon us.

Hebrews 12:18-24 (NIV) - Approaching God with Reverence

In these verses, we see a vivid picture of the awe-inspiring encounter between God and the Israelites at Mount Sinai. The thunder, lightning, and trembling of the mountain emphasized God's holiness and the fear associated with the Old Covenant. However, through Jesus Christ, we now have access to the heavenly Jerusalem, where God's presence is a source of joy and hope.
