Devotional Message:
(1 Timothy 4:12)
"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity."

Observation:
Timothy was a young leader in the church, and some people may have doubted his abilities simply because of his age. Paul encouraged him not to let that discourage him. Instead, he challenged Timothy to set an example for others through his words, actions, love, faith, and purity.

This verse teaches us a powerful lesson: our age or experience doesn’t define our ability to lead or make a difference in the lives of others. What matters most is how we live our lives and the example we set for those around us. Whether we are young or old, our words should always be kind and uplifting, our actions should reflect honesty and integrity, our love should be genuine, our faith should be strong, and our lives should be pure.

Paul’s advice to Timothy is relevant to all of us today. Sometimes, we may feel that people underestimate us because we are young, inexperienced, or different in some way. But instead of focusing on what others think, we should focus on how we live our lives. We should aim to live in a way that shows God’s love, wisdom, and grace to everyone we meet.

Application:
Let’s think about each area that Paul mentioned, starting with our speech. Words are powerful, and they have the ability to build up or tear down. When we speak, we should ask ourselves if our words are helpful, kind, and true. Are we using our words to encourage others or to criticize? Setting an example in speech means choosing words that bring life and hope to those around us.

Next is conduct, which is about our behavior and how we act in different situations. It’s easy to do the right thing when others are watching, but what about when we are alone or when
