Devotional Message:
(Hebrews 7:25)
"Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them."

Observation:

We often go through life feeling uncertain about our spiritual condition, wondering if we are doing enough to please God or if we are worthy of His love and forgiveness. Hebrews 7:25 gives us incredible reassurance. This means Jesus not only saves us, but He saves us fully and completely. There’s nothing left for us to do to earn God’s favor—Jesus has done it all.

The phrase "He always lives to intercede for them" tells us that Jesus, even now, is praying for us, speaking on our behalf to the Father. When we stumble, Jesus is right there, lifting us up in prayer. He’s like our personal advocate, always ensuring that we are covered by His grace and love. This is not just a one-time act. Jesus is constantly interceding for us, which means that our salvation is secure—not because of what we do, but because of what He continues to do.

Imagine having someone who is constantly praying for your success, your peace, and your well-being—someone who knows your deepest needs and struggles. That’s exactly what Jesus is doing for you right now. He is able to save you completely, not halfway or partially, but fully. No sin, no failure, no weakness is too great for Him to handle.

Application:

What does this mean for our everyday lives? First, we can have complete confidence in our relationship with God. There’s no need to live in fear or doubt, thinking that God will reject us when we fall short. Jesus’ ongoing intercession means that our salvation is secure. We don’t have to earn God’s love, and we can trust that even when we mess up, Jesus is right there to help us.

This also means we can come to God with boldness in prayer, knowing that Jesus is already advocating for us.
