Devotional Message:
(Hebrews 1:3)
"The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven."

Observation:
This verse tells us something incredible about who Jesus really is. It says that Jesus is the "radiance of God’s glory" and the "exact representation of His being." Imagine how bright the sun shines, giving light to everything around it. In the same way, Jesus shines with the glory of God, showing us exactly what God is like. He isn’t just a reflection; He is the source of light and life itself. This verse also tells us that Jesus upholds or sustains all things by His powerful word. Every part of the universe is held together by Him—from the smallest atom to the largest galaxy. But even more amazing is that after Jesus died on the cross for our sins, He sat down at the right hand of God. Sitting down means the work was finished. He accomplished what no one else could—He made a way for us to be forgiven and brought back to God.

Application:
How does this verse apply to our everyday life? First, it reminds us that Jesus is in control. We can often feel overwhelmed by life’s problems—school, work, relationships, or health issues. But knowing that Jesus is sustaining all things by His powerful word means we don’t have to carry these burdens alone. He’s holding the whole universe together, and that includes us.

Also, this verse calls us to trust Jesus more deeply. If He has the power to sustain everything and to cleanse us from our sins, He surely has the power to guide us through whatever challenges we face. We can go to Him when we are confused, tired, or scared, and trust that He will bring us peace, because He has already completed the greatest work by
