Devotional Message:
(Galatians 6:9)
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

In Galatians 6:9, the Apostle Paul encourages us to keep going, even when life gets tough. This verse speaks directly to those moments when we feel exhausted, discouraged, or like our efforts aren't making a difference.

Think about the farmer who plants seeds in the ground. He doesn’t see the harvest immediately. There’s a lot of waiting, watering, and watching before any signs of growth appear. It’s easy to get discouraged during the long wait, especially when it seems like nothing is happening. But the farmer knows that if he keeps caring for the crops, eventually, he will see the fruit of his labor.

Similarly, in our lives, we often face situations where doing the right thing seems difficult or even pointless. Maybe we’re being kind to someone who doesn’t appreciate it, or we’re working hard at something that feels like it’s going nowhere. In these moments, it’s tempting to give up. But Paul reminds us that just like the farmer, we will see a harvest if we don’t quit. The key is perseverance—continuing to do good, even when we’re tired or discouraged.

How does this look in our daily lives? Perhaps you’re dealing with a difficult situation at work or in your family. You’ve been trying to do the right thing, but it feels like no one notices, or worse, like it’s not making any difference. Or maybe you’ve been praying for something for a long time without seeing any change. These are the times when Paul’s words are especially important.

God sees your efforts, even when no one else does. He knows the sacrifices you’re making, the kindness you’re showing, and the prayers you’re praying. And He promises that your work is not in vain. The harvest may not come immediately, but it will come “at
