Devotional Message:
(Ephesians 3:16-17)
"I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love..."

In this passage, the Apostle Paul is praying for the believers in Ephesus, but his prayer is also meant for us today. He asks God to strengthen us with His power through the Holy Spirit. This strength is not physical, but rather a deep, inner strength that helps us face the challenges of life with faith and courage. Paul’s prayer highlights the importance of Christ dwelling in our hearts through faith. When Christ lives in us, our lives are transformed. We begin to see the world differently, love more deeply, and act with more kindness and patience.

Paul also prays that we are rooted and established in love. Think of a tree with deep roots. The deeper the roots, the stronger the tree. When storms come, the tree stands firm because its roots are well established. In the same way, when our lives are rooted in God’s love, we are able to withstand the difficulties and storms of life. We are not easily shaken because our foundation is strong.

Application:
In our daily lives, it is easy to become overwhelmed by the many challenges we face—work stress, family issues, health concerns, and more. Sometimes, we might feel like we don’t have the strength to keep going. This is when we need to remember Paul’s prayer. God is ready to strengthen us from within through His Spirit. When we feel weak, we can ask God to fill us with His power.

To have Christ dwell in our hearts means to invite Him into every part of our lives—not just on Sundays or when we are in trouble, but every day. It means allowing His love to guide our thoughts, words, and actions. It also means trusting Him, even when things
