SOUL- is our MIND- intellect, will and emotions
When a person becomes born-again. God gave him a brand new spirit but his mind and body are still old.
His old self(nature) was crucified ( died) with Christ- Romans 6 6
Romans 12 1-2- Our bodies should be surrendered, our minds should be renewed
THE NEED FOR A RENEWED MIND- Soul
The order should be
SPIRIT, SOUL(Mind), BODY
The Mind must be led by the spirit not by the flesh
