Lamentations 3:20–22 (NLT) – “I will never forget this awful time as I grieve over my loss. Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease.”
In this episode of Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall examines the book of Lamentations, where the prophet Jeremiah mourned the destruction of Jerusalem while maintaining an unshakeable hope in God. He highlights how recognizing God’s holy justice against sin reminds us never to take His righteousness lightly.

Pastor Sumrall explains that even when suffering the consequences of past mistakes or divine discipline, believers can dare to hope because God's mercies and faithful love never fail. God takes no pleasure in causing sorrow, and anyone who humbles themselves and turns back to Him will find compassion, forgiveness, and fresh hope.
