Daily Devotions: Weak Leadership - February 9, 2025
COP Manila
"Weak leadership responds to what the people want rather than to what is best for them or what God says." Today, as Pastor Sumrall reads from Exodus 32, he teaches us that weak leadership leads people to destruction rather than discipline and growth. Leadership is a position God entrusted to people He made capable; with this, leaders must aid their members in learning and proper correction to mature and be capable of leading as well.
Exodus 32:1-2 NLT
When the people saw how long it was taking Moses to come back down the mountain, they gathered around Aaron. "Come on," they said, "make us some gods who can lead us. We don't know what happened to this fellow Moses, who brought us here from the land of Egypt."
So Aaron said, "Take the gold rings from the ears of your wives and sons and daughters, and bring them to me."
