On this third Sunday of Advent, Gaudete Sunday, we reflect on the joy of our mission coming to fulfilment with the birth of the Lord. The ultimate source of joy is not us; but the mission that we are about to fulfill with Christ. Rejoice for we are instruments of the Lord’s mission, just like John the Baptist. Rejoice for we have been redeemed by the Lord.
