TODAY'S GOSPEL: Matthew 1:1-17

The Gospel of Matthew reminds us to ask ourselves: “How do I know God’s mission for me?” In our dreams and goals for ourselves, we will see the beginnings of the mission of God for us. It gives us a glimpse of our path and God’s plan for us. There are no accidents in God’s plan, and even though there is a plan, God gives us freedom to make choices. So, in the end, it is up to us to make choices that will help us accomplish this mission.
