💁🏻 Surrendering What You Prayed For – Hannah’s Faith
Hannah prayed with all her heart for a child, and God answered her by giving her a son, Samuel. But Hannah did something very hard—she gave Samuel back to God. She brought him to the house of the Lord and left him there to serve God all his life. This shows us what true faith looks like. True faith does not only ask God for blessings—it also gives those blessings back to God. Hannah understood that Samuel was not really hers, but God’s gift. Everything we have comes from God and belongs to Him. We are only stewards, meaning we take care of what God gives. Hannah trusted God’s plan more than her own feelings, and she honored her promise to Him.

Father God, thank You for every good thing You have given me. Sometimes I hold on too tightly to the things I love, and I forget that they all come from You. It’s hard to let go, especially when it is something I prayed for and waited for. But You are good, and Your plans are always better than mine. Help me trust You more than my own feelings. Teach me to give back to You with a willing heart, not because I have to, but because I love You. Everything I have is Yours anyway. Please use my life and my blessings for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
