๐๐ป The Confrontation That Revealed a Traitor โ Judas Iscariot
During the final week of Jesusโ life, He openly confronted the Pharisees and religious leaders for their hypocrisy, pride, and false righteousness. He exposed how they looked holy on the outside but were corrupt on the inside. While Jesus was rebuking false religion publicly, betrayal was already growing privately in the heart of Judas. Shortly after these confrontations, Judas went to the chief priests and agreed to betray Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. The confrontation with the Pharisees and the betrayal of Judas are connected: both reveal hearts that were close to religion but far from God. The Pharisees rejected Jesus openly, while Judas followed Him outwardly but rejected Him inwardly. Both show that a divided heart and hypocritical faith can lead a person away from Christ.
