💁🏻 Joseph and His Brothers – Forgiveness Rooted in God’s Sovereignty
Joseph’s brothers had done something very wrong. They sold him, lied about him, and left him to suffer. Many years later, Joseph stood before them as a ruler in Egypt. He had the power to punish them. Instead, he chose to forgive. Joseph did not say their sin was small or acceptable. He clearly said they meant evil. But he also believed something bigger—that God was in control the whole time. God used their sinful actions to save many lives. Joseph’s forgiveness came from trusting God’s plan, not from forgetting the pain. This story teaches us that God rules even over human evil, and His good purposes will always stand.

Joseph, Jesus, and Forgiveness
🙏🏼 Prayer:
Father God, You know how hard it is for me to forgive when someone hurts me deeply. Sometimes the pain feels too heavy, and I want justice in my own way. Please help me see my life the way Joseph did, through Your loving and powerful hands. Teach me to trust that You are working even when others do wrong. Soften my heart, take away bitterness, and help me forgive as You have forgiven me. I want my life to show Your grace, not my anger. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
