Joseph was hurt by the people who should have loved him mostโhis own brothers. They were jealous of him, angry at his dreams, and chose to sell him as a slave. Joseph did nothing to deserve this pain. He was lied about, thrown away, and forgotten. Yet God did not turn away from Joseph. Even in betrayal, God was working quietly. What others meant for harm, God was shaping into something good. Josephโs story shows us that Godโs plan is stronger than human sin, and His faithfulness does not stop when people fail us.

Father God, You see the pain that people cause. You know how betrayal hurts the heart and stays in the memory. Sometimes I feel wounded by words, actions, or silence. I donโt always understand why You allow these things, but I want to trust You. Please help me not to grow hard or angry inside. Heal what is broken in me. Teach me to believe that You are still working, even through pain. Hold my heart close and lead me in Your way. I place my wounds in Your hands. In Jesus' name, Amen.
