DIY Siargao: May Bagyo? Tutuloy ba? | Itinerary + Budgetary

The moment we docked in the Island, news came that Typhoon Chedeng’s already inside PH’s area of responsibility. Worse, coast guards wont allow tourists to visit the famous tri-island — Naked, Daku and Guyam Islands. So what shall we do?

Budgetary:
🌴 Accomodation: Homestay P600 - 1500/night in General Luna (Ours was P900/night fronting Top Sea Can Homestay)
🌴 Motorbike: P350/day for a minimum of 3 days (Kuya Mario, 0930 632 8028)
🌴 Surfing: P500/hour, includes instructor + surfing board (add P300 for photographer, P50 for phone ziplock and P50 for locker). Cloud 9 boardwalk has P50 admission fee.
🌴 Boat rental: P1600/boat (good for 6 pax) to Sugba Lagoon. Addtl P50 each for environmental fee. Kayak/Stand Up Paddle at P300/hour.
🌴 Magpupungko Rock Pool P50
🌴 Carenderia food in GL (General Luna) at P100-P200/person per meal.
🌴Swedish massage rate at P400/hour

Tips and tricks:
✔️ Haggle (in homestays, surfing, motorbike and boat rentals)
✔️ Motorbike pickup and dropoff can be at the airport/port area. Just ask the owner.
✔️ Full energy before surfing. Do stretching first.
✔️ Comfortable swimming gears when travelling to Islands
✔️ Observe speed limit
✔️ Keep on asking the coastguards though when shall the tri island and sohoton cove/bucas grande trip resume
✔️ End your trip with a good massage
