Emilio Daez and His Learnings About God During His PBB Journey

"I think the number 1 thing I learned in the house is my relationship with God. I was the most spiritual in my life during (my stay) in that house because I read the Bible, I pray the rosary twice a day. It just led to a lot of reflection and spiritual awakening that I had. It really helped me keep my cool, stay in touch with everything that I was feeling..."

In this week's Journeys of Hope episode, we are joined again by Emilio Daez, now a former PBB housemate, who reminisced about his journey in Bahay Ni Kuya. He shared the rigorous interview process he experienced before officially becoming a housemate, as well as the most difficult decisions he had to make inside the house. He also talked about leadership, taking risks around other people, the most important learnings he gathered during his entire stay in the house, and his learnings about his relationship with God. He elaborated on how being inside the PBB house allowed him to have more time for self-reflection and meet his most spiritual self. A lot of these learnings are carried with him outside the house, helping him to be more spiritually grounded in life.
