In Part 3 of this historical series, Stephen the Great faces his greatest challenge yet. Between 1480 and 1495, Moldavia lost land, was pulled between empires, and fought for survival. The voievode uses shifting alliances, risky diplomacy, and warfare to resist the Ottomans, Hungarians, and the Poles. All this while holding his fragile and small kingdom together...
