TODAY'S GOSPEL: Luke 2:22-40
The Gospel of Luke reminds us about the role of the family in the formation of the child. Baptism is the fundamental consecration, the very first sacrament. This sacrament is a reminder and a challenge for us to find time as a family to consecrate ourselves regularly to the Lord. Today, as we celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, let us renew our consecration to the Lord and pray that we may become a community that nurtures its children.
