TODAY'S GOSPEL: Matthew 6:7-15
The Gospel of Matthew reminds us to check our own attitude and view towards prayer. Do we babble prayers like the pagans or do we pray sincerely with and for grace? As the Lord’s Prayer said: “Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.” This means that we are praying to establish the Kingdom of God here on Earth. As we continue our Lenten journey, we ask the Lord that we may continue to grow in the grace of prayer, and act to establish God’s Kingdom here today.
