GENESIS 16: Hagar in the Wilderness | Bible Study with Me!

As of today there are 162 of us (including me haha!) I filmed this awhile ago but I had to wait for my new harddrive to arrive so I could edit! Woop. Anyway, I am always praying over you all and that He would enable me to do these videos. :) I remember one of my teachers saying, "it's not Jesus PLUS me. But it is Jesus IN me. I just have to get out of the way!" And that is something I am learning in this whole process but mostly I am very hopeful! And just overall feeling so thankful because this feels like a gift, and it is!! Just gotta steward better :)

Today we have another installment of our Women in the Bible series and we're with Hagar, the gangster-Egyptian girl in Genesis 16 who was the first to give God a name. We were asked to share a devotional last semester for school and I shared her story, which I think is also our stories in a lot of ways :) For those of us finding ourselves unseen, feeling forsaken, or just alone in our wilderness, Hagar's story is one that would give us encouragement that it's in those very places that God meets us and introduces Himself to us in a more intimate way.

I hope having these bible studies becomes part of your morning routine with Jesus!
