May misunderstanding lang sa reklamo ng ilang officials ng Charismatic na naunang inihayag ni Rev. Fr. Lucas Inoc na temporaryong na banned si Fr Darwin sa Cebu. Natanggap at nabasa na ni Fr Darwin ang liham ni Archbishop Jose Palma ng Archdiocese of Cebu at walang pag banned na nangyari kay Fr Darwin bagkos hinikayat itong magkaroon ng dialogue tungkol sa isyo sa speaking in tongue. Naunang nilinaw ni Fr Darwin na hindi siya at ang lahat na exorcists tutol sa speaking in tongue dahil malinaw yan sa Catechism of the Catholic Church ngunit dapat mag-ingat ang karamihan sa pinaniniwalaang speaking in tongue para hindi madaya sa ating espirituwal na kalaban.

“The extraordinary gifts are not to be rashly asked for, nor should the fruits of apostolic works be presumptuously expected from them; but the judgment of their genuine character and the ordered exercise of them pertains to those who preside in the Church….”
