Hold On to Your Faith - July 8, 2023 DD

In today's devotions, Pastor David E. Sumrall takes us into Acts chapter 22, starting from verse 12, where Paul recounts how he received his sight, within the hour, through an encounter with Ananias and a miracle by a command of faith. This account teaches us the significance of enduring faith. When Jesus said, "little faith" in Matthew 8:26, it doesn't mean little as amount to quantity, as it means duration. We have seen faith waver when healing doesn't happen instantly, but remember that healing was secured through the stripes Jesus bore. Paul waited, and he received his sight, not instantly. He, too, had to wait. Hold on to your faith. Hope must not be lost when a miracle doesn't manifest instantly.
