God’s perfection is His holiness, which is God’s unconditional and complete love.
Jesus, during his trial and torture, showed us how to resist retaliation.
During his crucifixion and resurrection, the Lord showed us how to love one’s enemies and to pray for one’s persecutors. Let us strive to live God’s holiness.
As we approach the Season of Lent, may we begin striving to become perfect like our heavenly Father.
