How is hope connected with faith?

Hebrews 11:1; says that faith is the assurance of the things hoped for, and the conviction of things not seen. Hope is the result of our faith – when we believe and trust in God and His promises, we draw our hope in Him, and our strength comes from His faithfulness. There is no hope where there is no faith, and there is no faith when there is no hope.
