HUMILITY – Daily Devotional

Devotional Message:
(John 13:14)
And since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet.

Humility is a very important part of our Christian experience. Christ has called us to follow Him and His way of love and selflessness. Paul wrote, “In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!” Jesus said it best after washing His disciples feet, “And since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet.” Today, humble yourself and be the servant Christ has called you to be.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I want to be Your servant. Help me have the same mindset of humility and servanthood that You do. Amen.
