After a long time, Joselito finally mustered the courage to face Mr. Fred in his desire to court Tinalet. Joselito was at the right age with a good job, owned a house and a car. Despite all these, he was always rejected by Mr. Fred whenever he tried to visit Tinalet. He became persistent in his courtship but to no avail.
Mr. Fred did not allow anyone to court his daughter because he thought that she would leave him when she got married. His friends reminded him that allowing his daughter to get married was a good thing, but not allowing her was something better if the man she married was wicked. Mr. Fred expressed his thoughts to Tinalet, who assured him that she would take care of him with her husband-to-be, Joselito.
