In Your Hands I found my Peace (original)

I was lost, I was alone,
With a broken heart, far from home.
No one heard my silent cry,
I had no strength left to try.

Pre-Chorus

Then You came and held me close,
Gave me love when I needed it most.

Chorus

In Your hands, I found my peace,
In Your love, my heart is free.
When the world turned away,
You were there, You chose to stay.
Jesus, You're my resting place,
I'm forever safe in Your embrace.

Verse 2

When my tears began to fall,
You were there through it all.
Now I know I'm not alone,
In Your arms, I've found my home.

Chorus

In Your hands, I found my peace,
In Your love, my heart is free.
When the world turned away,
You were there, You chose to stay.
Jesus, You're my resting place,
I'm forever safe in Your embrace.

Outro — Softly

I'm not alone, I'm not afraid,
In Your hands, my peace will stay.
Jesus, I am Yours always.
