No one gets to avoid the storms of life. Sickness, loss, money problems, broken relationships, they come for all of us sooner or later. What matters is what your life is standing on when they arrive. Think of two houses. One is built on solid rock, the other on loose sand. From the outside they might look the same, but when the rain, wind, and floods come, only one stays standing. The house on the rock holds because of its foundation. The house on the sand collapses, and the fall is great. Your life works the same way. If it is built on God's truth, it can survive the hardest seasons. If it is built on anything else, it may not.
