The Gospel of Mark reminds us that the mission of Christ is a mission that is for and within the community. He is a kind of God that invites us to share in His work of redemption, the work of saving souls. He came to the world precisely for our sins. So as we desire to overcome our sins, it’s important we offer them to the Lord so He may give us the grace to overcome them.
