TODAY'S GOSPEL: Mark 3:22-30
The Gospel of Mark reminds us that part of being a follower of Christ is to undergo the same experiences and suffering He went through—that includes the malicious judgment of others. As the saying goes: a prophet is never accepted in his hometown. But in times of persecution, it’s important that we clarify where we stand, in the same way that Christ stood His ground. Today, let us pray for the strength to focus on doing good.
