TODAY'S GOSPEL: Matthew 3:13-17
The Gospel of Matthew reminds us that the sacrament of baptism is our entry to the Christian community. It is a constant reminder that we belong to a community. When we live out the grace of the baptism, we are being obedient to the mission of the Church, which is to make disciples of Christ. As we witness to our Lord’s baptism today, may we be energized to bring more people to our faith.
