Series Description:
There are many great and there are the not so great Bible characters. Likewise, there are the great and the popular and there are the great but the not so popular examples of faith. The unpopular are less read and less studied. They are unpopular because they are not well known. They are not often mentioned in conversations and Bible studies. They are not usually taught or preached during sermons. However, they are unpopular not because they are not great. For many reasons they maybe are unpopular, but for many significant reasons they are likewise the great men & women of God — they are the unsung heroes of faith.
If we want to mature spiritually and emotionally, we need to venture into discovering how these great unsung heroes of faith lived out their belief in God. We need to know their motivation why they worshipped and served God and Jesus. We need to discover what to imitate from them. We need to be inspired by their faith and dedication, their hope and commitment, as well as their love and loyalty to Yahweh.
If we want to unify in strengthening our community of faith, we need to know how these unsung heroes of faith communed with their contemporaries, how they endured together with other unsung heroes of faith, and how they enjoyed hosting the presence of the Lord even in a spiritually and emotionally hostile worldly system.
Together, let’s be unified with a vision onwards the blessedness of spiritual and
