The Gospel of Matthew encourages us to be more like Jesus, who has a more spiritual level of understanding of the laws. We, as Christians, are called to put everything in perspective and consider all sides before judging anyone, just like how Jesus would do it. We should avoid condemning and judging, but rather, we should be more compassionate and understanding to others and make these reflect on how we practice religion and its laws in our daily Christian lives.
