The Gospel of Matthew calls us to be more compassionate of others. We should not be righteous because that will not draw people closer to Jesus. We must remember that Jesus came here to save sinners like us and show them more about God's love. He heals those who are sick and helps those who are in need of His light. We need to become more understanding and patient with them, because God is also patiently waiting for their hearts to open to Him. May we possess more compassionate hearts for others, reach out to sinners, and bring them towards the light of Jesus.
