TODAY'S GOSPEL: Matthew 6:19-23
The Gospel of Matthew reminds us that while materials things have value, it is the good that we do in this life that lasts forever. We have obstacles we face that stop us from receiving graces and sharing that forward. A dirty window stops light from passing through, so let us be wary of the negative things that hinder us. With a detachment to the material and clarity to do good service, we leave behind something greater.
