The Gospel of John calls us to live our lives for God and not for this world. We are reminded that we should not be shaped by the influences of the world but rather to stay rooted and grounded with God's Word, because this is the foundation of our faith. Jesus gives us the strength we need; all we have to do is to turn to Him and ask for it while we also ask for His guidance on how to live a life for God everyday.
