The Church will still remain solid in its position in not recognizing the same-sex marriage. Most Rev. Msgr. Fred Madlangbayan, a.k.a. "LOLO MONSI" explains that from Genesis of the Old Testament, it is clear that God made our First Parents - Adam and Eve, as man and woman. Marriage is a sacred covenant between the couple, husband and wife (a man and a woman), and with God. It was made that way that a man and a woman as husband and wife, joined as such in the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony, for the purpose of pro-creation and/or building of a family. The Church is still praying for those who are wishing to be married in the Church and to be accepted as such; and for those who are living-in as couples or are presently engaged in same-sex union.
