In today's reading from Proverbs 15:19, laziness is pointed out as a roadblock to success. The passage also says that one who is lazy exhibits arrogance and intolerance. As Christians, we must aim to be productive and effective in our everyday routine.

A lazy person’s way is blocked with briers,
but the path of the upright is an open highway.
