Lazy vs Hardworker - March 6, 2024 DD
"On working hard, you will have a good life." Today's reading from Proverbs 12 and 13 teaches us how the Bible contrasts a lazy and hard worker. A lazy person lays out great desires yet accomplishes none because of idleness. Thus, this person does not rise to leadership. A hard worker uses everything he has because of diligence, thus reaping prosperity.
Proverbs 12:24-27 NLT
Work hard and become a leader;
be lazy and become a slave.
Worry weighs a person down;
an encouraging word cheers a person up.
The godly give good advice to their friends;[a]
the wicked lead them astray.
Lazy people don’t even cook the game they catch,
but the diligent make use of everything they find.
